The San Nicolò Bed and Breakfast is located on the beautiful hills of Vicenza and offers guests a perfect combination of countryside tranquility and the comforts of a family atmosphere, where rooms are spacious and bright.
Nestled in the green hills of the Valle dell'Agno, the "San Nicolò" Bed and Breakfast welcomes you with exclusive comfort. The Rubega family built this residence in the 90s, following the canons of the characteristic Venetian farmhouses. The particular horseshoe-shaped structure offers a splendid terrace partially covered from which you can admire the landscape of the valley below. The kitchen/dining room and living room are spacious and bright, both equipped with a fireplace.
There are two rooms available:
- The Camilla Room, located on the ground floor, has three beds (1 double + 1 single or 3 singles), a bathroom with a shower, a lounge with a large window offering a view of the terrace and TV.
- The Carlotta Room, located on the first floor, has two single beds, a bathroom with a shower, and TV.
Guests of the San Nicolò Bed and Breakfast can enjoy the exclusive outdoor swimming pool and relax in the spacious park (10,000 square meters) that surrounds the villa. This Bed and Breakfast is also the ideal starting point for exciting excursions, on foot or by bicycle, in the beautiful surrounding countryside. In addition, just a few minutes' walk from the B&B, you can visit the ancient Trissino-Marzotto villa.
In the morning, you can enjoy a delicious and rich breakfast with the option to choose between sweet and savory options. You'll find a wide selection of jams, teas, fruit juices, coffee, milk, and fresh fruit. Moreover, if you desire, upon request, you can taste exquisite cold cuts or eggs cooked on the spot. Welcome to the San Nicolò B&B! We are Mary and Gianni, the owners of this cozy home located in the beautiful Veneto region. In 1990, we built our house following the rural style of the area, but with a touch of originality that makes our B&B unique. Here, you will find a spacious and comfortable environment, tastefully and functionally furnished, where you can feel at home.
We decided to start this activity because we wanted to meet new people and have new experiences, and over the years, we have learned how important it is to feel comfortable during a trip. Mary takes care of the house and the rooms, creating special and comfortable environments for all guests. Gianni, on the other hand, dedicates himself to the garden, which offers a spectacular view, especially in spring, and to the numerous pieces of furniture that he has built with his own hands.
We have been married for 47 years, have two daughters and two grandchildren, and together with our pets, two dogs and some cats, we are a real family. In this B&B, you will find a familiar atmosphere and lots of joy. Come and visit us, and you will not be disappointed!
The B&B San Nicolò is the perfect place to visit the beauties of the province of Vicenza. Thanks to its strategic location, it is possible to easily reach the following destinations by car:
- In just 15 minutes you can discover restaurants and farmhouses where you can taste typical local products. In addition, you can visit the Castle of Giulietta and Romeo and Villa Cordellina Lombardi with Tiepolo's frescoes in Montecchio Maggiore, or Arzignano with its characteristic historic center.
- In 30 minutes, on the other hand, you can reach Vicenza, the city of Palladio, Padua, Recoaro Terme and the small Dolomites, where you can practice trekking at various levels. In addition, you can visit the Palladian villas, Thiene, Schio with its industrial archaeology routes and Marostica, the scene of the famous living chess game.
- In an hour you can reach Venice, Verona, Lake Garda, Gardaland and the amusement parks of Garda, Asiago and Bassano del Grappa.
- Over an hour's drive, you can visit Treviso, Brescia, Bergamo, Milan and the Venetian seaside resorts such as Jesolo, Bibione, Caorle and Chioggia.
The B&B San Nicolò offers its guests parking in the garage, guided tours on request in the area, bicycles and escort service to the train station (not included). In addition, small to medium-sized dogs are also welcome.
