The agriturismo is located about 2.5 km from the historic centre of Perugia, in an area that the Provincial Commission for the Protection of Natural Beauty defined as a “splendid panoramic and landscape area that extends over the hills to the east of the city” in 1966 and was consequently subject to landscape restrictions.
In the 16th century, it was described by the architect Cipriano Piccolpasso as follows:
“It is a valley filled with many fruits, many olive trees, many vineyards, many gardens, groves, aviaries, vegetables, shelters of laurels, blackthorns, jasmines, within which you can see different types of fountains, which flow from rustic stones, from floors, in short, it is an earthly paradise…, here the murmur of the water, the sweet song of the birds, the sweetness of the air force you to stop.”
Little has changed since then!
The agriturismo is housed in an old farmhouse, partly dating back to the 16th century, whose restoration was completed in 2010, in accordance with current anti-seismic regulations, respecting the original architectural and functional characteristics.
Large and quiet outdoor spaces allow for any outdoor physical activity (trekking, mountain biking, etc.).
