Once here, you won't want to leave. The house, dating back to the mid-20th century, is located within a marvelous, unique, tiny, and very peaceful village surrounded by greenery, just 30 minutes away from Cagliari and a few kilometers from the Sette Fratelli Park. It is halfway between the fantastic beaches of Costa Rei, Villasimius, and Poetto.
Founded by the bourgeoisie of Cagliari in the late 19th century as a vacation spot, the small village of San Gregorio showcases beautifully preserved villas and gardens of remarkable beauty. It is a place of great peace and silence, completely immersed in nature. A few hundred meters from the village, the winding road called Campu Omu (the old SS125, which connected the north and south of Sardinia) winds through breathtaking landscapes towards the coast. In the village, there is a tiny church that opens only one day a year, on the occasion of the patron saint's festival.
The house that hosts the B&B is a mid-20th century villa, renovated in 2021 following energy-saving principles (photovoltaic panels, double glazing, and insulation). The interior is cozy, simple, and well-furnished. It has three double rooms on the first floor, all very bright with private bathrooms, WiFi, minibar, air conditioning/heating. Two of them, with large double windows, offer views of the surrounding greenery and the village, while the third overlooks the internal courtyard and the surrounding hills.
