A beautifully restored ancient farmhouse offers seven fully equipped and well-furnished apartments, ranging from two to four beds, with independent entrance and autonomous heating. A furnished veranda with table and chairs is available for open-air lunches.
A spacious garden, a swimming pool, a restaurant, a parking lot, a bocce court, and a ping pong table are at your disposal.
Furthermore, the farmhouse is committed to environmental sustainability, using renewable energies such as solar thermal and geothermal steam to heat the accommodations. The farmhouse is open all year round and offers its guests a large swimming pool, a heated pool in autumn (October) and spring (from Easter to May), a skating rink, a bocce court, a barbecue, and mountain bike rentals. It is also possible to go horseback riding and buy locally produced oil and wine directly.
This is the perfect place to spend a vacation dedicated to nature, culture, and sunshine, in complete relaxation. In the small restaurant, you can taste typical dishes from the Tuscan tradition.
The restaurant is located in San Carlo and half-board is available for groups of at least eight people. Please always confirm with the establishment for dinner service.

In the morning, you can enjoy your breakfast on the spacious terrace of San Carlo, while relishing a magnificent view of the Cecina River Valley, Rocca Sillana, and the Berignone Nature Reserve.
Our chefs prepare pastries and brioches using our organic flour, cultivated directly in the fields below. The jams are homemade with our own fruits, while the honey we serve comes straight from our beehives. Additionally, the meat and cheese we serve are locally produced, just a short distance from our farm!

Our family established Agriturismo San Carlo back in 1986, and since then we have lovingly dedicated ourselves to our guests, offering them a relaxing vacation surrounded by the beautiful nature of Tuscany. The property is located just 4 kilometers from the center of Pomarance, which can also be easily reached on foot through peaceful streets. The charming Etruscan city of Volterra is only 20 kilometers away.
From here, you can easily reach many other famous destinations: the renowned tower city of San Gimignano, the Chianti Classico region, as well as the cities of Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and Siena. Additionally, you can enjoy wonderful excursions to picturesque Tuscan villages and visit the Etruscan coast, which is only 40 kilometers away.
We also offer horseback riding lessons and/or excursions with an experienced guide, as well as trekking and nature walks.
