The Guesthouse consists of two adjacent buildings, the result of a successful renovation of historic buildings. One of the buildings, dated 2009, houses the four rooms with bathrooms, furnished in a mountain style and equipped with every comfort. The other building is newly constructed, and starting from December 2022, we are happy to welcome you to our new dining room for a healthy and abundant breakfast. The Rue Saint Bernard Guesthouse is enriched by a lovely rocky garden with a lawn, which is greatly loved and cared for by the whole family.
Here, among enchanting flowered corners, you can relax in the shade of trees or sunbathe accompanied by the gentle sound of the nearby flowing river. From the garden, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the mountains.
We also have a terrace with tables and chairs, ideal for working or studying in peace, thanks to the Wi-Fi coverage that extends outside the property. The chairs, tables, deck chairs, and sun loungers are available to all guests.
We offer a wide range of options for breakfast, including delicious sweet and savory dishes, perfectly suited to the season.

The activity of Affittacamere is fully managed by me, Anna, with the occasional collaboration of my family, who usually engage in other activities. As for me, I can boast twenty years of experience in the tourism sector. During my university years, I started working as a seasonal waitress in various hotels in Trentino and Valle d'Aosta. In 2000, I settled in Valle d'Aosta, in the beautiful village of Proussaz, where the Affittacamere is located. I continued studying and obtained a Bilingualism in French and the title of Professional Agritourism Operator, thanks to a regional course in Valle d'Aosta. For many years, I worked alongside my mother-in-law in managing the family agritourism, covering all roles, from administrative management to everything related to practical work: reservations, reception, room management and care, and catering. Thanks to my accumulated experiences over the years, my technical and theoretical knowledge in the tourism sector, and the specific market of Valle d'Aosta, I am able to competently and safely manage the Affittacamere activity. In addition to the Affittacamere, my husband and I also manage a small family farm, where we cultivate small fruits, rye, potatoes, vegetables, medicinal herbs, and produce high mountain honey. The products from our farm are used to prepare breakfast, served both fresh and processed. Thanks to my experience as a Professional Agritourism Operator and my training as an Ambassador of the Gran Paradiso National Park, I am able to offer our guests a quality stay from a cultural perspective, promoting the territory and its products. In my free time, I love hiking in the mountains and painting, a passion that has always accompanied me!
The "Rue Saint Bernard" Bed and Breakfast is located in the picturesque village of Proussaz, which is part of the municipality of Rhêmes-Saint-Georges. Situated at an altitude of 1464 meters, on the edge of the Gran Paradiso National Park, this place offers an untouched natural environment. Here, you can admire the wildlife in its natural habitat. The village is about 3 km away from the center of Rhêmes-Saint-Georges, where you will find a grocery store-bar and a restaurant. Furthermore, it is approximately 7 km away from the main resort of Rhêmes-Notre-Dame, where you can find downhill skiing facilities and access the cross-country ski trails, which include a beautiful loop of about 15 km. This area also offers exciting walks of different difficulty levels, suitable for both sports enthusiasts and families. During winter, some trails can be explored with snowshoes. However, it is important to note that the area is poorly served by public transportation connecting the city of Aosta and the surrounding towns, so it is advisable to have your own means of transportation for easy mobility.
