"The Refuge of the Gods" is a charming place that originated from an ancient farmhouse built in 1800 by our great-grandfather. He passionately devoted himself to the cultivation of a vast olive grove, gardens, and the care of animals. In 2007, the structure was completely renovated, preserving the typical features of the coastal architecture of Positano, such as the barrel vaults, chestnut wood lintels, and lime plaster.
This farmhouse, located in the Arienzo district of Positano, in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, can be reached by a path of about 150 meters, immersed in the greenery of the Mediterranean scrub. After climbing about 250 steps from the main road, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Positano, the island of Li Galli, Punta Campanella, and Capri.
The country house, surrounded by an olive grove and a deciduous forest, has three mini apartments - Poseidon, Dionysus, and Aphrodite - furnished with taste and simplicity, paying particular attention to details where the classic architectural elements of the Amalfi Coast are found. The apartments are accessible from both the hall and external entrances, which lead to the private garden-solarium of each accommodation, equipped with sun loungers.
Each garden enjoys a spectacular panoramic view that spans Positano and the entire Sorrentine Peninsula/Amalfi Coast, up to the island of Capri. Here you can benefit from absolute tranquility, thanks to direct contact with nature and local traditions skillfully passed down.
