The B&B Residenza Cecchi is a cozy retreat created inside a historic family home. Thanks to its recent renovation, we are ready to accommodate guests eager to enjoy peace, tranquility, and a touch of magic. Upon entering the front door, you will be transported to an authentic Florentine residence. We have taken care of every little detail to make your stay a unique and unforgettable experience. The floors are original, the furniture exudes an ancient atmosphere that will take you back in time, without giving up today's comforts.
Breakfast is a crucial moment at our cozy B&B and is served every day from 8:30 to 10:00. We are dedicated to satisfying every desire, whether for those with a sweet tooth or those who prefer savory options. We offer delicious croissants, cakes, toast, butter, yogurt, jams, chocolate spreads, cereals, bread, ham and cheese, eggs, and fresh fruit. As for beverages, you can enjoy espresso coffee, decaf, cappuccino, hot chocolate, tea, fruit juices, and milk.

Let yourself be enveloped by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of this room, framed by green tones and furnished in an absolutely refined manner. The lines and the regal design give it a muffled atmosphere, a warm embrace that will surrender you to another era, making you enjoy the taste of classicism. Located on the first floor of the hotel, it is perfect for relaxing after a day of walking. The external bathroom is shared with only one other room.
This is the smallest room of our b&b, but like all the others smells of history and family hospitality. The bed and the wooden wardrobes are in perfect Florentine style, but above all here there is everything that matters for those traveling like you. The bathroom is shared with another room, spacious and equipped with all comforts.
Spacious and very bright double bedroom thanks to the high ceilings and to two large windows that fill the space with natural light; it is located on the ground floor of the facility. The harmony of the spaces and colors of the elegant grit floor fuse together with antique furniture, make it the perfect room to enjoy a moment of relaxation. The bathroom is external to the room, but totally private and for exclusive use.
Our biggest room, that can comfortably accommodate three people, the only one with private bathroom in the room. All the furnishings have been carefully selected respecting the Florentine tradition. This is definitely the most suitable room for families and for comfort lovers. The ceilings are very high and the double windows allow natural light to flood the spaces.
The B&B Residenza Cecchi is a charming retreat located in an ancient family residence. The history of this establishment dates back to 1927, when my great-grandfather, a skilled mason from Sardinia who had experienced the adventures of the Russian campaign firsthand, decided to build this residence, which he named "Villino Carta". After careful renovation, we are delighted to welcome guests eager to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of peace, tranquility, and a touch of magic.
The Residenza Cecchi bed and breakfast is located in the picturesque historic district of Gavinana, right between the vibrant city center and the tranquility of the countryside. Thanks to our bed and breakfast's strategic location, you can easily walk to Ponte Vecchio or Santa Croce in just 20 minutes, along the gentle banks of the Arno River. Alternatively, you can take a pleasant stroll along the charming avenue of the hills to reach the magnificent Piazzale Michelangelo, from where you can admire the enchanting city of Florence in all its splendor.
