The Residence Pietre Antiche offers four cozy independent apartments with a courtyard and terrace. These apartments have been renovated on the ruins of an ancient residence in the picturesque medieval village of Erice. Located at an altitude of 750 meters, the Residence is situated on a quiet street just a few steps from the lively central square. From here, you can admire breathtaking views and easily reach the beautiful beaches of Trapani and its surroundings.
The apartments are fully equipped with a kitchenette, a living room with a sofa bed, heating, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi connection.
The "Erice Pietre Antiche" residence was inaugurated in 2009 and has been entirely reconstructed from a medieval building. Even today, it preserves the characteristic appearance of that historical period. You can relax on the flowered terrace or in the stone courtyard, which was once a family chapel. Here, you can admire an old 1800s laundry basin used for handwashing clothes, two tombstones dating back to 1714, and a finely crafted marble holy water font.
The kindness of the staff and the proximity to the main square make the Residence Pietre Antiche a magical and charming place. Here, you can stop time and get lost in the cobblestone streets of the village, enjoying the scents of delicious almond pastries.
At a short distance from the residence, you can easily reach the main square "della Loggia" and the Town Hall with the adjacent "Cordici" museum. Not far away, there is also the beautiful church of San Martino and an ancient stone table used for fish sales, only twenty meters away. In less than five minutes on foot, you can reach the garden of "Balio" with the charming "Arab-Norman Castle," the Balio towers, and the Pepoli tower, which offer a magnificent 360-degree view of the entire coast, from Trapani to Marsala, including the Egadi islands and the salt pans with windmills. The splendid Cathedral of the Madrice church, with its imposing Frederick's Tower, is only a few minutes away and is the most majestic among the approximately 16 consecrated churches of the picturesque medieval village of Erice.
