The neighborhood is characterized by a large number of B&Bs and hotels, so there are many tourists coming and going at any time. There are some nearby bars for a quick lunch. Mini-markets can be found a few minutes around the train station. 15 minutes away is a large park, Parco delle Cascine, perfect for jogging, and on Tuesdays there is a huge market along the river. During the summer, there is a lovely swimming pool called "Le Pavoniere" open to provide everyone with some refreshment. The old fortress, Fortezza da Basso, is located 3 minutes from us and is a center for trade fairs and exhibitions. Next to the fortress, there is a charming little park with a lake that has swans.
