Raggi di Sole
In the heart of the historic center of Bologna, just steps away from Piazza Maggiore and the Two Towers, the B&B "Raggi di Sole" is born in a late 19th-century building protected by the Fine Arts.
The structure has recently been redesigned by Glauco Gresleri, a renowned Bolognese architect, who, through an original study of descriptive geometry, created the characteristic "rays" of color that run through the entire apartment. An artist-restorer, Marilena Mela, painted the entire project and also took care of the restoration of some antique furniture.
A journey into art awaits you both inside the property (meticulously cared for in every detail) and outside (as the city's most representative museums and cultural institutions can be reached on foot in a few minutes).
The B&B has two completely silent rooms, both very spacious and equipped with bright windows with double glazing for better soundproofing.
The French Room (so named for its style of decoration and the painted rays whose colors evoke France) has a large bathroom and a crystal shower for exclusive use. Possibility of adding an additional bed in the room.
The Suite is very spacious, on two levels, equipped with a fitness corner and, upon request, access to the exclusive WELLNESS AREA (see below) with a bathtub and relaxation area. Comfortable double bed on the mezzanine, private bathroom with shower. Possibility of adding a single bed and/or a French double bed and, in the Wellness Area, up to two "futon" mattresses on the African Afzelia that covers the entire relaxation area (ideal for groups of up to 6 people).
The B&B is served by a modern elevator, free Wi-Fi internet connection, air conditioning, and TV and DVD/CD available to guests in the central common area.
The breakfast included in the package offers a variety of delights to enjoy at the buffet. You can indulge your taste buds with our homemade jams, spreadable butter, crispy biscuits, and pre-packaged pastries. Additionally, you can savor our selection of teas and herbal infusions, aromatic coffee, and fresh milk. For those who like to start the day with energy, we offer a wide choice of cereals and muesli, tasty fruit juices, and creamy yogurt.
If you desire a personalized breakfast, simply request it at the time of booking. We will be happy to satisfy your preferences with a selection of savory products, such as eggs and bacon, and a variety of fresh fruits and premium cold cuts.
