Vallelarga is sited among interesting tourist areas such as Sulmona, famous for the "sugared almonds"(confetti), medieval aqueduct, ancient churches and hermitages; Scanno, with a magnificent heart shaped lake, traditional suits and jewellery; Roccaraso, Castel di Sangro, Rivisondoli and Pescocostanzo, for winter sports and cheese products and four national parks, Abruzzo National Park, Gran Sasso, Majella and Sirente Velino.

The breakfast we provide is not included in our prices but can be requested (at an additional cost of €5.00 per person per day). It includes packaged food items such as biscuits, jam, Nutella, snacks, milk, coffee pods for the machines available in the apartments, fruit juice, and cookies. Breakfast is served in the room.
Hello! I'm Stefania, I manage Il Poggio dei Pettirossi, the family residence surrounded by the greenery of the Abruzzo countryside in Vallelarga, in the small village of Pettorano sul Gizio (one of the most beautiful villages in Italy).
I am 42 years old and I love to travel. I have lived abroad, in Germany (Regensburg), and my last two years were spent in England (London) and America (Alaska). Besides Italian, I speak three other languages: English, German, and Spanish.
I owned a travel agency in Sulmona (AQ) for 12 years. I love the world of tourism and travel in every sense.
