Agriturismo Poggio del Drago
Il Poggio del Drago is located on a small hill in the valley facing Montemerano, just 5 km from the Saturnia Thermal Baths, surrounded by the lush Tuscan Maremma.
The building is surrounded by greenery and offers spacious open spaces where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of this splendid part of Tuscany.
The entrance of the building is surrounded by cypresses. To the right of the entrance avenue there is a covered parking for cars, while on the left you will find the structure, with a large courtyard shaded by young lime trees that provide shelter from the sun on the hottest days.
The exterior of the farmhouse has been finished with natural stone, while the corners have been decorated with staggered bricks, all to give the structure a rustic look. The windows, on the other hand, have been designed to ensure maximum comfort, being made of anodized aluminum and soundproofed.
Our rooms take inspiration from typical Maremma flowers and each of them is equipped with all the necessary comforts for an authentic relaxing stay in the heart of Maremma.
Breakfast is the main meal of the day, and some argue that it is also the most important. At Poggio del Drago, we offer a plentiful breakfast every day.
The breakfast room is carefully furnished down to the smallest detail and has five tables.
Every morning, we will set up your table with yogurt, fruit juice, toast, and a basket containing jams, honey, and single servings of Nutella. Additionally, we will serve fresh ricotta, various homemade cakes, fresh bread, and, upon request, hard-boiled eggs, ham, and cheese. Of course, coffee, cappuccino, and everything else will not be missing.
Upon request, we can also prepare breakfasts suitable for vegans and celiacs.
Located amidst the stunning landscapes of the Maremma countryside, our farmhouse is an enchanting retreat where one can fully immerse themselves in relaxation and well-being. Just a few minutes away from Saturnia and the spectacular Mulino Waterfalls, our farmhouse is the perfect starting point to explore the picturesque villages of the enchanting Maremma Tuscany.
