Nestled in the green hills of Chianti Senese, just 2 km from San Gimignano, is the Agriturismo Poggiacolle, a true oasis of peace in the heart of Tuscany. From here, it is easy to reach the most important art cities in the region, such as Siena, Volterra, Florence, Pisa, Arezzo, and Lucca.
The agriturismo is the ideal place to rediscover the pleasure of a truly relaxing family or friends vacation. We offer a wide range of activities for all tastes, such as cooking classes, visits to animal farms, excursions, and trekking on the Via Francigena.
The farmhouse dating back to 1700, completely restored according to tradition, includes holiday apartments equipped with kitchen and services, as well as rooms with a private bathroom in the B&B solution, all furnished in rustic Tuscan style. The B&B apartments and some rooms are independent, while the remaining bed and breakfast rooms share the kitchen and access to the panoramic room in the dovecote tower, perfect for relaxing in the evening alone or in company. Agriturismo Poggiacolle has always been pet-friendly (pets allowed).
Outside the B&B agriturismo, guests can enjoy open spaces equipped with chairs, deck chairs, tables, and umbrellas next to the beautiful panoramic pool. From here, you can admire the towers of the medieval village of San Gimignano, perhaps comfortably lying on the mattress.
Our breakfast is a delicious and diverse experience. You can taste cakes, cookies, assorted croissants, cereals, muesli, and delicious local cold cuts, such as Tuscan pecorino cheese. In addition, we serve white and black bread, schiacciata, eggs, fruit, tea, and juices. To complete the experience, we offer espresso, American coffee, and cappuccino. The breakfast service is managed by Marcella and part of it is buffet-style.

All rooms are equipped with TV, free wi-fi internet connection and private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. The rooms have air conditioning.
We provide sheets and towels. Towels are changed every 3 days, unless otherwise requested, sheets are changed weekly.
The Girasole apartment consists of 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 1 large kitchen with fireplace, 1 relaxation room in the dovecote tower and an outdoor area with table and chairs.
The price includes: a welcome gift, utilities, linens and towels, use of the swimming pool, pool towels, daily cleaning, TV, wi-fi, air conditioning, use of our mountain bikes and barbecue, car parking.
The Poggiacolle farmhouse accepts pets and we will be happy to host them for free. Inside the property there is a fenced area for dogs to walk.
The price does not include the tourist tax.
The price of the apartment does not include breakfast. Breakfast has an extra cost of € 12.00 per person per day. PLEASE NOTE: The breakfast service is suspended from the end of June to the end of August.

Stefano, who holds a degree in political science, opened his agriturismo 19 years ago and runs it with passion. In addition to politics, Stefano has a great passion for good wines, which often help him forget about the current political situation. He loves to travel and is a passionate supporter of the Fiorentina football team, and he happily shares his passion with his guests.
