Country House in Pianoro in the hills

Nestled on the hills of Pianoro, just a few kilometers from Bologna, Podere Riosto is a place where a passion for the land translates into genuine hospitality, high-quality wine, and immersive experiences in nature. For three generations, the Galletti Franceschini family has passionately cultivated the vineyards surrounding the agriturismo, creating a winemaking tradition that reflects the region and its heritage. The blend of winery and hospitality offers a comprehensive experience, where every detail is designed to provide relaxation, authentic flavors, and unforgettable views. The apartments and rooms, set amidst greenery and located in Casalino, Torre, and Carvulla, provide well-maintained and self-sufficient environments, perfect for those seeking peace and comfort. Each unit features a living area with a kitchenette, a bedroom, a bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and satellite TV. During the pleasant months from May to October, guests can unwind in the outdoor panoramic hot tub, enjoying views of the gullies, vineyards, and hills. The culinary offerings highlight local products with dishes that blend Emilian and Tuscan traditions. The restaurant welcomes guests in a rustic and cozy setting, complete with exposed beams and large windows overlooking the vineyards. Whether it's a romantic dinner, a wedding reception, or a corporate event, every occasion finds its perfect backdrop here. The Torre Room accommodates up to 140 people, while the panoramic veranda can host 40 guests in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere. For intimate gatherings, the small larch wood room is ideal for small groups. An unmissable experience is the Dinner in the Vineyard, offered during the summer months: an evening among the candlelit rows, where guests can savor the winery's wines and traditional dishes under the starry sky. The agriturismo also serves as an ideal venue for nature-filled weddings, with options to set up ceremonies and aperitifs among the vineyards and enjoy expansive green spaces for unforgettable moments. Guests at Podere Riosto can take advantage of numerous activities nearby: hiking in the hills, cultural visits to Bologna, the Etruscan archaeological sites of Marzabotto and Monte Bibele, the Rocca di Dozza, or the home of Guglielmo Marconi. Wellness enthusiasts can enjoy the thermal baths at the Villaggio della Salute, while those looking to connect with nature can partake in horseback riding or walks in the Monte Sole Park. Through the Wine Club, Podere Riosto engages guests even beyond their stay, offering benefits, previews, exclusive events, and rewards for those who choose to remain connected to the wine world of the Bolognese Hills.
