The owners of Podere Pietreta are a professional couple who, after concluding their careers, decided to invest their savings to fulfill a dream: purchasing and renovating an ancient Tuscan farmhouse. They have always been passionate about staying in agriturismos, and at Podere Pietreta, they have put their experience into practice by tastefully furnishing and equipping the apartments. Additionally, in the cellar of Podere Pietreta, they store a truly special wine produced by them. The excellent oil and organic jams, produced here, attest to the owners' love for the Sienese countryside. The best comment from our guests? "We truly feel at home here!".
Podere Pietreta is the perfect starting point for short trips (30/60 minutes) to some of the most fascinating destinations in Tuscany: Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Radicofani, San Quirico d'Orcia, Chiusi, Cetona, Cortona, Arezzo, Siena. In just 20 minutes, you can find yourself in the enchanting woods of Monte Amiata, and Umbria is only half an hour's drive away. Another truly exceptional feature is the presence, within a 30-minute radius, of numerous renowned thermal facilities: the Terme di San Casciano Bagni, the pools of Sarteano, Bagni San Filippo, the hydrothermal complexes of Chianciano, and more. Val d'Orcia is located in the heart of Tuscany, south of Siena, surrounded by rolling hills that separate it from Lazio and Umbria. It stretches along the route of one of Italy's most beautiful roads, the ancient Via Cassia, reaching the slopes of Monte Amiata. In 2005, UNESCO included Val d'Orcia in the list of World Heritage Sites.
