The Pathirion B&B is located in Piragineti, a village in the new Corigliano-Rossano municipality, and is halfway between the two urban areas.
Therefore, it is an excellent starting point for cultural and naturalistic itineraries in the surrounding area.
The Pathirion B&B is immersed in the tranquility of the countryside, but offers guests the opportunity, in just ten minutes by car, to reach the beaches of the area, visit the city's monuments or go for walks in the mountains, in order to satisfy all desires.
The two small outbuildings of our country house, built in the early 1900s, are available to guests. The outdoor space, surrounded by olive trees, is very large and completely fenced and is equipped with a table with chairs, wicker armchairs, and a ping-pong table. Its most beautiful corner is the space under the centuries-old oak tree where you can have breakfast, relax reading a book, or play ping-pong.

Breakfast is one of the highlights of our Bed and Breakfast: the hostess personally prepares pastries, cookies, and jams.
You will find milk, coffee, tea, yogurt, fruits, juices, honey, butter, and toast. Upon request, a savory breakfast is also available.
Breakfast is served in the characteristic kitchen or, weather permitting, in the garden under the shade of an ancient oak tree.

ART AND CULTURE
Rossano is a Byzantine city rich in history. Among the most important things to see, we recommend the Church of San Marco, a masterpiece of Byzantine sacred architecture in Calabria, along with the Cattolica di Stilo, the Cathedral, where you can admire a fresco of the Holy Achiropita, the Codex Purpureus, a precious Greek gospel written on red-purple parchment with gold and silver ink, and the Castle of San Angelo. It is interesting to visit the ancient liquorice factory Amarelli and the attached museum. A few kilometers from Rossano, immersed in a lush forest, you can admire the Monastery of Pathirion, whose church preserves splendid mosaic floorings. In Corigliano, the Ducal Castle is worth a visit, as it is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved castles in the entire southern region. About a 20-minute drive from Rossano, there is the famous archaeological site of Sibari and the archaeological site of Castiglione di Paludi.
SPORT, NATURE, AND ADVENTURE
The mountains offer many trekking routes. The natural oasis "I giganti di Cozzo del Pesco," a centuries-old chestnut grove, offers a splendid landscape for a walk in the green and can be visited with the accompaniment of an expert guide. Not far away is the Sila National Park. It is also possible to go rafting on the Lao river or take excursions in the Raganello Gorges. For water sports enthusiasts, a few kilometers away, there is the Acquapark Odissea 2000. All excursions can be booked through the B&B.
GASTRONOMY AND ENTERTAINMENT
You can enjoy typical Calabrian dishes, fresh fish, and our good wine in the many restaurants you will find in the historic center, at the harbor, or along the promenade. In the summer evenings, you can have a drink while listening to music by the sea or participate in the many events (exhibitions, concerts, shows, festivals) that you will find in the program of the Rossano and Corigliano summer. During the Christmas season, the historic centers of Rossano and Corigliano come alive: the street of nativity scenes, the arrival of the Befana, Christmas markets, shows, and tastings.
RELAXATION
In the area, there are several beaches, both free and equipped. You can also take advantage of the tranquility of the countryside and the coolness of the mountains.
