Palazzo Gelmi is an ancient building owned by the Gelmi family for over a hundred years.
Even today, the palace maintains the original design from the 19th century: the tuff window frames, the iron grates and railings, as well as the imposing wooden doors.
From the entrance on Via Tazzoli, you can access the atrium and, through a majestic 19th-century staircase made of Carrara marble and polychrome marbles, reach our B&B on the first floor.
During the renovation works, decorative neoclassical frescoes were discovered, presumably dating back to the second half of the 18th century.
To preserve this valuable heritage, we carried out a significant restoration that involved not only the frescoes on the walls and ceilings, but also all the original elements of the time, such as the refined inlaid windows, the elegant stucco work, the doors, and the precious oak and cherry wood floors.
Entering Palazzo Gelmi means immersing yourself in an authentic fragment of history, of which the owner is proud to preserve its authenticity.
Today, Palazzo Gelmi opens its doors to guests eager to share and appreciate the beauty of the interior decorations and the wonders of the city of Verona.
