The Eleonora Palace is a charming Bed & Breakfast located in the heart of the picturesque Monasterolo del Castello, a peaceful Italian village with just over 1,000 inhabitants in the province of Bergamo.
The building dates back to the 17th century and was completely renovated and transformed into a B&B in 2015. This renovation is the result of innate sensitivity and aesthetic sense, which can be immediately noticed in the attention to detail, the harmonious combination of old and modern, and the choice of materials that best adapt to the surrounding environment.
Today, the Eleonora Palace is divided into:
- B&B
- Independent apartments.
This place is reserved for a limited number of guests to maintain the tranquility that characterizes it.
On the first floor, you will find the large dining room overlooking the inner courtyard, where a buffet breakfast is served. Paola will be pleased to fulfill your every request, serving both sweet and savory dishes, including freshly baked pastries!
The B&B offers three double rooms, all independent and with private bathrooms, and a more spacious studio with a separate kitchen and sofa bed.
The rooms are named after characteristic places in the area.
In the center of the building, there is a delightful courtyard consisting of an open area and a porch, where guests can enjoy pleasant moments of relaxation, read a book, or simply savor a cup of coffee or tea.
Located on the eastern shore of the picturesque Lake Endine, in the beautiful Val Cavallina, the Eleonora Palace is only 25 km from Bergamo and a 25-minute drive from "Il Caravaggio" Orio al Serio Airport.
This charming palace has always been owned by Paola's family; in fact, both her paternal grandparents were born here. The idea of transforming it into a B&B was conceived by her father, and in 2013, he completed a complete renovation of the building. In 2015, they opened the bed & breakfast, and since then, their adventure has begun.
Paola, who has a degree in engineering, has always worked in the steel industry, but in 2017, she decided to make a radical change and give a new direction to her life. She fully believed in this project and dedicated herself to it wholeheartedly. The results did not wait: she transformed this place into a cozy refuge where people can spend even just a few days in total tranquility and intimacy.
Paola is always available and friendly with all her guests, leaving them with beautiful memories of their stay at the Eleonora Palace.
