The property, completely renovated in 2011, occupies the first floor of an ancient building in the historic center. Both the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Pilotta Palace, the Farnese Theater, Garibaldi Square, and the University headquarters are just a short walk away. You can admire these monuments and enjoy the main attractions of the city without having to walk too far.
In the rooms of B&B Opera Parma, you will find a television and an air conditioning system. The service includes towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer. An electric kettle and a refrigerator are available along with a coffee machine and a kettle in the common area.

Our B&B Opera Parma is located just a 5-minute walk from the National Gallery. The property is situated only 10 minutes from the city center, near the majestic Cathedral of Parma. You can reach the wonderful Teatro Regio on foot in a few steps, while Parma train station is just a 10-minute walk from our property. We are also about 10 minutes away from the Glauco Lombardi Museum.

But there are also other local products that are not to be missed, such as Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, Culatello di Zibello DOP, Salame Felino IGP, Spalla Cotta di San Secondo, and the delicious Porcini Mushroom IGP. Among the first courses not to be missed are cappelletti or anolini in broth, fresh pasta filled with braised meat, which are served especially during the Christmas holidays. As for the main courses, the slowly cooked meat stew in meat broth is a true delicacy.
Spending a weekend in the territory of Parma, which extends from the Po River to the Apennines, will give you the opportunity to discover the surrounding treasures, such as fortresses and castles. You can visit the evocative Rocca Sanvitale di Fontanellato (located 18 km to the west), the majestic Castello di Torrechiara (20 km to the south), and the splendid Reggia di Colorno (15 km to the north), easily accessible by public transport as well. To fully experience this land, you cannot miss a visit to food museums, such as the Cheese Museum in Soragna, the Prosciutto Museum in Langhirano, or the Salami Museum in Felino.
