L'Olivo
The B&B l'Olivo is located near the Congress Center of the Fortezza da Basso, just a 10-minute walk from the Central Station (or 4 minutes with Tram1) and a 20-minute walk from the Duomo, considered the heart of the historic center. Additionally, we are close to the Careggi Hospital, easily reachable via the T1 tram line in just 13 minutes.
Despite our proximity to the center, we are outside the limited traffic zone (ZTL), so it is possible to reach us comfortably by car. Thanks to an agreement with the Municipality, we offer our guests the possibility to park on the street at a reduced cost of 10 euros for 24 hours, with free parking on public holidays.
Our B&B offers fully equipped rooms with private bathrooms, a hearty breakfast prepared in-house and served in our lovely garden. All our rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and private en-suite bathrooms.
The B&B is located on the ground floor, making it easily accessible even for people with mobility difficulties. The garden and common area are spaces available to all our guests, and for those traveling by bike, it is possible to leave the bikes at the B&B safely while exploring the city.
Our delicious breakfast offers a variety of hot beverages such as coffee, tea, and milk, accompanied by tasty biscuits and toast. You can spread butter and jam on your slices, or opt for a fresh fruit salad or creamy yogurt. For those who prefer something more substantial, we also offer a selection of crunchy cereals. Additionally, every day we will surprise you with a unique homemade sweet treat. Coffee and tea are available to all guests, even those who do not choose breakfast.

"Pino Marittimo" is a double room, ideal for couples, equipped with all comforts: air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi and TV. The private bathroom has a shower, bidet, toilet, sink, hairdryer, towels and hand soap. The room overlooks our private garden ensuring a peaceful stay away from the traffic hustle and bustle of the historic center and a comfortable night's rest. It will also be possible to use the garden as a relaxation area.
"Quercia" is a double room, ideal for couples, equipped with all comforts: air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi and TV. The private bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink, hairdryer, towels and hand soap. The room overlooks our private garden ensuring a peaceful stay away from the traffic hustle and bustle of the historic center for a comfortable night's rest. It is possible to transform the bedroom from double to triple, opening the pouf into a comfortable single bed. It will also be possible to use the garden as a relaxation area.
"Cipresso" is the largest room of our B&B. It has all the necessary comforts: air conditioning, heating, wi-fi and TV. Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Bruno and I am 38 years old. Nine years ago, I established a Bed and Breakfast, driven by three main reasons: the pleasure of meeting new people from all over the world, a passion for travel, and a desire for challenging yet humane work. Since I was young, I have constantly traveled, and even now, with a wife and two young children, I try to do so as much as possible.
Although it is not my sole occupation, I still strive to dedicate as much time and attention as I can to the B&B.
After nine years on this platform, I felt it was appropriate to rewrite my introduction. Many things have changed, but not everything. The important things haven't. I continue to believe in Bed and Breakfasts not only as a place to rest during a journey but also as spaces for connection and friendship.
From this standpoint, I must say that the existence of this website is a true salvation. A website that requires little and allows for direct contact between the host and the guest. A portal that is not a greedy multinational, but a small company formed by workers. A place to preserve and protect.
Our brand new apartment, freshly renovated, is located just a pleasant 15-minute walk along the river from the historic center.
Furthermore, its location is conveniently accessible even for those traveling by car, thanks to the easy and affordable parking spaces in front of our B&B.
The strategic location of the B&B is also perfect as a starting point for exciting excursions in the beautiful Chianti region, or for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city center and enjoying a romantic dinner on the gentle surrounding hills.
