Agriturismo Nonna Rosa located in the heart of the Park of the Rock Churches, a few steps from the city center and the famous Sassi di Matera districts.
The structure was founded as a livestock farm and, since the early 1900s, has been involved in the production of wheat and olive oil and the breeding of sheep.
The rooms that make up the structure offer all the comforts to make your stay unforgettable. The simple and essential furnishings highlight the relationship with the surrounding nature made up of olive groves, orchards, vegetable gardens and wheat extensions.
In addition to the rooms, there is an agricamping that extends for about 1000 square meters inside an ancient tuff quarry and where you can stop with your caravan or open your tents between holm and oak trees.
The family management makes the environment relaxed and jovial. In the various seasons, customers will be able to participate in the company's activities such as the harvest of olives or seasonal fruits such as cherries, figs, apricots, plums, apples and pears.
The garden will offer guests fresh and various vegetables to be harvested directly and enjoyed raw or in a special meal served in the room (on demand).
