Hello! We are Titti and Natalia, two sisters who manage the B&B Napoli Time. We were born here in Naples and we love to travel, host, and our beautiful city. We have turned these passions into our job to allow all our guests to feel at home and fully enjoy all the experiences that Naples has to offer. Our B&B is located on one of the most characteristic streets of the famous Spanish Quarters, which are UNESCO Heritage. Via Speranzella is truly special! Our B&B is on the first floor of a 16th-century building, which has an elevator. This building has great historical and cultural value, with unique architecture. Our B&B Napoli Time offers a mix of art and design that creates a fascinating contrast with the folkloric atmosphere of this wonderful area of the city, which is rich in history and authentic "Neapolitanity". We really want to provide you with well-being and unforgettable emotions during your stay. We can't wait to welcome you and share with you all the advice and suggestions that only true Neapolitans can give you. See you soon! Titti and Natalia
This part of Naples, which is part of the largest historic center in Europe, was a temporary camp (or at least that's what was thought) where the troops of the Spanish king were housed during the period of Spanish domination. For this very reason, the urban layout was designed with an intricate maze of narrow alleyways, nestled between tall multi-story buildings, divided into small apartments that were originally little more than dormitories. This particularly "enclosed" environment was once a fertile ground for criminal activity, and that is why the Spanish Quarters were considered the most infamous neighborhood in Naples, populated by shady characters and rebellious youths. But that is only the past. Today, the Spanish Quarters (which include Montecalvario, Pellino, and San Ferdinando) are experiencing a period of revival. The beauty of the 18th and 19th-century palaces, illuminated by the splendid southern sun, is enchanting, but to fully experience the Spanish Quarters, you must look down, that is, to the local bars, shops, and artisan activities that can be found at street level.
