Our Bed and Breakfast was opened in 2010 inside a charming Liberty-style building, with the aim of providing a complete service to our loyal customers, who have been choosing to dine in our family restaurant for over 40 years. We are always striving for improvement, with new and well-maintained furnishings, where simplicity and a family atmosphere will make you feel at home, never alone or out of place.
Now, thanks to the recent creation of four two-room apartments with a fully equipped kitchen, we also have the possibility of accommodating large groups. Additionally, we offer a convenient parking area for cars and vans.
To provide an even better service to our customers who visit our establishment for treatments at the PIACENZA clinic and the GUGLIELMO DA SALICETO hospital, we have launched a shuttle service. This service accompanies our kind guests from our establishment to the hospital and clinic, early in the morning right after breakfast, and brings them back to their room at the end of their visit or operation, even in the evening until 11:00 pm (the service is included in the room rate). Furthermore, for airport arrivals, we have a collaboration with a taxi service at advantageous prices, which can be requested at the time of booking.

And don't forget the spaghetti with clams, seafood risotto, pirate penne (slightly spicy), and spaghetti with mixed seafood. For the main course, we offer grilled fish and meat, as well as a tasty mixed fry and a wide variety of roasts. You can't miss out on homemade desserts like Neapolitan pastiera, fruit tarts, tiramisu, ricotta and pear cake, and so on. We have created this establishment to meet the needs of our customers, offering them the opportunity to taste excellent dishes of Piacenza cuisine, as well as grilled and fried fish, in our family restaurant.
Our location is strategic, close to the Polytechnic University of Milan, the Catholic University, the train station, and along the route of the Via Francigena. We are just a short walk from the historic center, the Ricci Oddi Gallery, and the Municipal Theater. The nearest highway exit is Piacenza Sud.
We are not far from Piacenza Expo, PalaBanca, and the Piacenza clinic. We offer free bicycle rental to all our customers and a free shuttle service to and from the train station, the Piacenza nursing home, and the Guglielmo da Saliceto hospital. You will find useful information about the pharmacy, newsstand, tobacco shop, car rental, clothing stores, self-service laundries, and hairdresser, all just a few meters away.
Supermarkets, churches, computer and telecommunications shops are all nearby, no more than 300 meters away. Additionally, we offer discounted rates for long stays, which you can request at the time of booking.

The Mulino degli Orti is located about 1 km from the central station, in a strategic position near the historic center, about 1.5 km away (a 15-minute walk), not far from the Polytechnic University of Milan, about 1 km, and from the Catholic University, 2 km away. Right in front of us is the Palace of Agriculture.
The nearest highway exit is Piacenza Sud, about 5 km away, the same distance for Expo and PalaBanca, as both are located near the Piacenza Sud exit.
The distance by car from the Civil Hospital is about 5-6 km, as it is necessary to pass outside the restricted traffic zone.
There is an excellent bus service right in front of the Mulino degli Orti. Bus number 2 serves all the main stops of interest, such as the historic center, the station, the university, etc.
Regarding the private clinic in Piacenza, the staff of Mulino degli Orti is committed to providing a shuttle service for clinic guests and their families. Furthermore, not far away are the Municipal Theater, the stadium, the Ricci Oddi Art Gallery, and shopping centers such as Gotico Borgo Faxall or Auschan.
