Located a few kilometers from Aosta, along the road to Pila, is a renowned ski resort easily accessible via a cable car that connects it directly to the city of Aosta. This area offers hiking enthusiasts a variety of medium and high mountain trails, characterized by different levels of difficulty. It is worth mentioning the special "Aosta-Becca di Nona" running race, held every two years, which challenges skyrunners along a round trip route of 27 km, with a total elevation gain of 5000 meters, separating the capital city from the summit above the municipality.
NATURE AND SPORT
This area offers hikers medium and high mountain trails suitable for different levels of difficulty. In addition to climbing to the Hermitage of San Grato, reachable from the capital in just over three hours, with an elevation gain of about 1200 meters, the more daring can challenge themselves by conquering the high peaks of this municipality that overlook the Aosta plain. Among these is Becca di Nona (3142 m), and the other is Monte Emilius (3559 m), which can also be reached via a via ferrata. In Charvensod, it is possible to practice cycling, both on asphalt roads towards Pilaz and on cycle-pedestrian paths accessible from the sports area of Pont-Suaz in Charvensod. The sports area is equipped with 4 tennis courts, a bar, a restaurant, and a solarium. At the "Sami Fitness Squash" gym, it is possible to relax in the wellness area with a sauna and Turkish bath.
