Our recently renovated rooms are cozy and furnished with simplicity. They are equipped with heating, individually adjustable air conditioning, TV, desk, luggage rack, private internal bathroom, courtesy set, towels, and hairdryer.
We offer single, double, triple or quadruple rooms, and on request, we have cribs available for a fee.
A buffet breakfast is available and offers a wide selection of delicious items to enjoy. Packaged cookies, toast, various jams, cereals, fruit juice, milk, American coffee, espresso, tea, chamomile, barley, fruit, yogurt, bread, and of course homemade donuts, pastries, cookies and cakes can all be found. Additionally, upon request, a savory breakfast buffet with cold cuts, cheeses, boiled, fried, or scrambled eggs (extra cost) can be provided. Terme Luigiane, considered a top-quality level 1 thermal bath, uses hyperthermal sulfur-bromine-iodine thermal waters with the highest sulfur concentration in Italy (173 mg/l). These waters provide a complete treatment suitable for a wide range of therapeutic conditions. The oldest and most renowned thermal station in Calabria is located in the great valley of the Bagni river, surrounded by lush vegetation but close to the sea.
The healing properties of thermal waters combined with the possibility of visiting some of the famous seaside resorts and natural excursion sites make this place particularly attractive for wellness tourism. Located between the municipalities of Acquappesa and Guardia Piemontese, Terme Luigiane contributes to enriching the uniqueness of the place.
Acquappesa was founded at the end of the 17th century and the beginning of the 18th century with the name of Casaletto or Casalicchio. The name of the place has been indicated in different forms: Acqua - appense, Aque - apenses, Acquae appensae, and finally Acquappesa. However, it can be presumed that the toponym is characteristic of a site known in ancient times for having special type of waters, probably in reference to sulfur waters.
Guardia Piemontese, an ethnic-linguistic minority, is the only Occitan community in Calabria. Even today, traditional costumes can be admired on some special occasions and historical evidence dating back to the 14th century and the massive immigration of Waldensians from Lombardy and Piedmont. In 1561, the latter suffered a bloody persecution by the Roman church.
