Locanda Cireneo
Locanda Cireneo is a historic farmhouse set in the Umbrian countryside, located along the provincial road that connects Lugnano in Teverina to Attigliano. Built many years ago, it served as the home of the current owner's grandparents in the 1960s, who lived there as farmers. After being left abandoned for a long time, it was purchased and carefully restored in 2020, preserving its original features thanks to the efforts of the owner's father and brother.
Today, the farmhouse houses a cozy inn divided into two distinct areas: the Bed & Breakfast is located on the first floor, while a small trattoria operates on the ground floor. The rooms, named Rosa and Girasole, are decorated in a simple and inviting style. The first room can accommodate two guests, while the second is suitable for three. Both rooms include a private bathroom, and breakfast is part of the stay.
The trattoria offers dishes that showcase Umbrian culinary traditions, made with local and seasonal ingredients. The products are sourced from local suppliers, ensuring quality and authenticity. The menu changes with the seasons, highlighting the true flavors of regional cuisine.

After graduating from the hospitality school in Spoleto in the 1990s, I devoted my professional life to the restaurant and hospitality industry until 2020. During the pandemic, I fulfilled my dream of purchasing this charming farmhouse and turning it into a warm and inviting inn. We find ourselves in the enchanting region of Umbria, known as the green heart of Italy, along Provincial Road 33 which connects Lugnano in Teverina to Attigliano, just a short distance from the highway exit. Our establishment serves as an excellent starting point for discovering the charming villages of lower Umbria, such as Orvieto, Narni, and Amelia, as well as those in upper Lazio, including Bomarzo, Viterbo, and Civita di Bagnoregio.
