This house, completely renovated, is situated in a typical summer villa from the 1960s, less than 100 meters from an intimate pebble beach, perfect for sunbathing or going on SUP excursions, or for swimming and admiring the seabed, especially on windy days.
The garden hosts a variety of local and non-local trees, flowers, and shrubs, which Fabio and Valentina care for with great attention to protect the present biodiversity, including bees, bumblebees, birds, and hedgehogs.
After admiring the beauty of the surrounding greenery, you can quickly reach the most famous and spectacular beaches of the southern coast, such as Capitana, Cala Regina, Mari Pintau, Geremeas, Solanas, and Villasimius on one side, and Calamosca, Pula, and Chia on the other. In addition, you can visit the beautiful city of Cagliari, just a 20-minute drive away.
As true Italians, we believe that breakfast is the best way to start the day. That's why we have decided to offer you a delicious Italian breakfast that revolves around the taste of coffee. To satisfy every palate, we also give you the opportunity to customize your breakfast according to your tastes and needs. Furthermore, since our B&B has a large garden with fruit trees, we are pleased to offer you fresh fruit grown directly on site, following the seasons: oranges in winter and spring, figs, passion fruit, and plums in summer.
We are a close-knit couple in love with the marvelous colors of nature, the sea, and adorable animals. Fabio has Italian roots but is a Canadian citizen and chose Cagliari as his permanent home about 15 years ago. He teaches English as a native language and has a passion for activities like windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, and tennis, in addition to being a skilled pianist. Valentina is a true Sardinian, passionate about art and literature, works in a bank, and has been practicing Greco-Roman wrestling since she was a young girl. We both love discovering different cultures, learning from others, and sharing our love for Sardinia by showcasing everything it has to offer. Our two Sardinian cats, Ambrogio and Nasino, will be thrilled to welcome you!
The bed and breakfast is located on the coast of Quartu Sant'Elena, one of the main cities in Sardinia, just a short distance from Cagliari. Nearby, you can admire the fascinating flamingos of the salt pans and the Molentargius Park, which you can also reach by bike following dedicated routes. Along the Poetto promenade, you will find a splendid 12 km long cycle path, which will allow you to pedal and enjoy its magnificent colors. Moreover, you can also take a walk to climb the famous Devil's Saddle and admire a breathtaking panorama. In both Quartu and Cagliari, you will have a wide choice of restaurants and shops where you can enjoy delicious dishes and go shopping.
