Our adventure in hospitality began in 2012, when we decided for the first time to open the doors of our home to the rest of the world. With our experience as travelers and guests of many unforgettable hosts, we wanted to leave a mark and become an integral part of the travel experience. Our goal is to make your stay in our beautiful city, a unique and different place from all others, but sometimes difficult to understand, more authentic, lively and human.
The experience of hosting has been surprising; we have given so much and received even more. We have formed lasting friendships and the world has entered our home, bringing with it its diversity, unique characteristics, and wonders. We believe that a piece of us and our home has remained imprinted in the memory of those who have crossed the threshold.
Our home is located in an area far from the usual tourist paths, overlooking the picturesque Rio delle Terese, which has captivated us and from which we have stolen the name. We hope that you too will be fascinated by this enchanting place.
We have designed our home with the goal of creating a welcoming environment for both ourselves and our guests, while respecting each other's privacy. You will be completely independent and free to move around as you prefer, but if you wish, we will always be happy to share our knowledge of the city with you to help you live like true Venetians, even if only for a short period of time.
Traveling together with our children Augusto and Alessandro is our favorite thing, and we hope to utilize our experience as travelers when hosting our guests. In the historic center of Venice, my husband and I will be delighted to welcome you into our home.
The room you are currently looking at is the only one we rent and it has a typical view of a very peaceful canal. The room has a large, recently renovated private bathroom with a bathtub. Please note that the bathroom is not adjacent to the room, but accessible through the door next to the room's door.
In the room, you will find a small refrigerator, a kettle with tea, and a Nespresso coffee machine with coffee capsules at your disposal.
You can book with or without breakfast. Breakfast will be served on a cart in front of the room's door starting from 8:00 in the morning.
The Bed & Breakfast is located in Dorsoduro, near the Architecture University, just a 15-minute walk from the bus station at Piazzale Roma. Situated in an area that retains the character of a city lived by its inhabitants, away from the main tourist routes but convenient for all the major points of interest in Venice. The romantic walk along the Zattere is just a few minutes away, as is the lively Campo Santa Margherita, with its numerous nice and affordable bars, cafes, and restaurants, all thanks to its proximity to the University of Venice. Some of the most beautiful churches are also within walking distance. In particular, you shouldn't miss the two ancient churches of San Nicolò dei Mendicoli and San Sebastiano (the latter frescoed by Paolo Veronese).
