Brand new structure, opened in 2019, it is a building made entirely of warm and enveloping wood, and the furnishings are just as warm.
The farmhouse is located on the hills of Donnas (Valle d'Aosta) above the terraced vineyards, just 10 minutes from the historic center. It is immersed in nature, surrounded by small clearings used as pastures and centuries-old chestnut groves.
With a family atmosphere, we offer our customers three double rooms with two single beds (or another double bed) on a charming mezzanine, a bathroom with shower, facilities for disabled guests, and all rooms are equipped with TV and wifi for internet connection.
Discover our cuisine, based on typical dishes of the Valdostana tradition, prepared with high-quality products directly from our adjoining farm. Here you can taste our meats, cured meats, aged and fresh cheeses, dairy products, yogurt, cow's milk, or goat's milk and all its derivatives. And also preserves, jams, fresh vegetables depending on the seasonality, and much more.
Our kitchen is managed by a single person who prepares all the dishes served to you at the moment. Being a farmhouse and not a restaurant, we must adhere to specific rules, which means we cannot serve pasta or dishes that do not reflect our tradition of the Aosta Valley, nor industrial drinks or food. Our menu is fixed and not à la carte, and it changes according to the seasons or what the farm provides at the time.
You can get up close to the animals on the farm and witness all the agricultural practices related to rural life. It is important to remember that these are animals and not toys, so it is important to behave appropriately. You can go for walks, hikes, or mountain biking, immersed in nature, among the centuries-old chestnut groves, with breathtaking views of the Alps, the surrounding valleys, and the Forte di Bard. And for climbing enthusiasts, there are also several routes to discover and practice this sport. In short, if you like good food, tranquility, simplicity, nature, animals, and good friends.
