I am from Lucera, for generations. I have always lived in my city. Despite its thousand flaws, I like Lucera: for its city center and its districts, for its beautiful churches, for the traditional dishes and the extraordinary Cacc'e Mmitte, for the Neapolitan roots of its language, for its spirituality, because it is older than Rome.
I love to travel. Usually, I organize my vacations myself. I prefer road trips (the means of transportation is relative), which allow me to experience the most authentic face of the places I choose to visit. And every time I come back - I know, it's cliché but it's true - I feel richer.
The idea of setting up an accommodation facility arose during the time I worked in tourism with my communication agency.
The building that houses Le Nicchie Guest House is located on a hill overlooking the Dauni Mountains and the Gargano in a proudly agricultural area. Here, not too long ago, there was a small vineyard owned by my family, and as a child, I would come with my grandfather to pick almonds, apricots, and figs from the fruit trees that sprouted here and there among the orderly rows.
Le Nicchie Guest House is exactly this: a journey into my land and my history!
