The Bed&Breakfast "Le Fontanacce" is located in the beautiful Val di Lamola, also known as the Ospitale valley, within the Regional Park of the Modenese Apennines of the Frignano, at an altitude of 936 meters. The structure is situated in front of the source of the mineral water "Monte Cimone" and enjoys the fresh and fragrant air that descends from this mountain. The valley is suggestive and crossed by the historic Via Romea, traveled by pilgrims heading to Rome. The paths, delimited by characteristic dry stone walls, lead to picturesque mountain villages, surrounded by a rich flora of firs, pines, chestnuts, and centuries-old beech trees. During walks, it is possible to encounter forest inhabitants, such as foxes, deer, hares, and badgers, and gather regulated mushrooms and blueberries. This place is ideal for those who want to spend moments of relaxation and discover ancient local traditions.
The structure is a typical mountain rustic stone house, with three double rooms and the possibility of adding a third and fourth bed. Breakfast is served in the spacious kitchen, and if the weather permits, also in the garden, with typical local products or homemade ones.
Other features and services of the Bed&Breakfast include the possibility of organizing lunches and dinners with local products, an enchanting garden illuminated at night with flowers, tables, barbecue, and fresh water fountains coming from Monte Cimone, sun loungers, children's games such as swings, slides, and carousels, and welcome to small pets. Upon advance request, it is also possible to take advantage of the babysitting service with qualified staff (this service is not included in the price).
The price includes parking, the use of the washing machine, hairdryer, barbecue, and the possibility of picking small quantities of berries. Additionally, mountain bikes can be washed and stored.
