The Torretta, a short-term vacation home, is located in the countryside of Monopoli, about 1 km from Capitolo, a beach area. Surrounded by the olive groves of Tenuta San Procopio, where we produce our extra virgin olive oil that you will have the opportunity to taste on site. Each accommodation will have access to a "small garden" that you can take care of and enjoy the vegetables. The accommodations are equipped with every comfort, including a double bed (one with a fireplace), a small room with bunk beds, a kitchenette, and large outdoor areas equipped with a shower, lawn, pergola, and barbecue, perfect for spending pleasant moments. The neighborhood is well served by various commercial activities such as pizzerias, trattorias, restaurants, take-out delis, fruit and vegetable stalls, grocery stores, pharmacies, and more. Just a hundred meters away, you can visit the Rock Churches of Saints Andrea and Procopio (11th century). The Capitolo coast is about 1 km away, where you will find many sandy beaches alternating with cliffs and crystal-clear waters (Blue Flag 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015). You can reach them by using the bicycles we provide, for the more adventurous on foot through an olive grove with centuries-old trees, or by car. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the affiliated beach club (Sabbiadoro), where an umbrella and sun loungers await you, along with all the services offered by the club. The Fasano Zoo Safari (the most important in Europe) is only 5 km away. Strategically positioned, La Torretta is located a few kilometers from the main artistic and scenic centers of Puglia, such as Alberobello (15 km), the Castellana Caves (17 km), Ostuni "The White City" (30 km), the Itria Valley, Cisternino, Locorotondo, Martina Franca (25 km), Polignano A Mare (10 km), the Fasano Zoo Safari (5 km), and the Archaeological Center of the Egnazia Excavations (4 km). Lecce (100 km) is also easily reachable. Matera is only 80 km away and can be reached in less than an hour (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
