Masseria La Tofala
La Masseria la Tofala is a charming traditional 16th-century farmhouse in Salento, which has been carefully restored. The commitment and passion of the owners in preserving the original features of the farmhouse, such as the exposed stone walls, are evident in the restoration of the stable, the barn, the oil mill, the oven, and the old cellars.
The 5 rooms, recovered from the original rural structure and furnished with a simple and elegant style, are spacious, bright, and equipped with all comforts.
Certain corners of the farmhouse have the ability to make you lose the sense of place and time: like the space around the pool, surrounded by vegetation rich in palm trees grown together with succulent plants and Mediterranean species, it was designed to create relaxing atmospheres ideal for rejuvenating.
The interiors feature a sober and harmonious mix of reclaimed objects, which enhance the authenticity of the spaces and create an atmosphere of natural serenity.
Guests can enjoy a walk in the internal park among centuries-old olive trees, citrus groves, and exotic plants, or relax by the poolside. They can also take a bike ride in the surrounding countryside or enjoy a relaxing treatment in the wellness center and spa.
This wellness center, also obtained from ancient rooms with barrel ceilings, offers a heated pool with whirlpool and waterfall for neck relief, a sauna, a Turkish bath, an emotional shower with chromotherapy, a Himalayan salt wall, massages, a heated pool, and a corner dedicated to herbal teas.
A delightful traditional breakfast awaits you at the buffet, featuring a range of local delicacies and homemade pastries. You can savor freshly baked croissants and cookies from a local bakery. To accompany it all, we offer hot coffee and tea, fruit juices, and a variety of fresh seasonal fruits.
