All our rooms have been furnished with furniture that respects the tradition of this ancient residence, with a touch of romanticism and creativity. I am Daniela and personally took care of the decoration, carefully choosing every detail. I hope you like our B&B. Below you will find a list of services that you can enjoy during your stay:

Some time ago, we made a decision: to leave the hustle and bustle of the city for the countryside, in search of a greater connection with nature and personal balance. Here, on the hills of Montorio, my family has owned this wonderful country house for over a hundred years, to which I am very attached. Surrounded by so much greenery and with a breathtaking view of Montorio Castle, we decided to renovate it and turn it into a bed & breakfast.
If you are looking for the classic bed & breakfast in the historic center, where you sleep and rush out of the house, maybe this place is not for you. La Rugolana is first and foremost an experience, it is the choice to be able to visit Verona and its beautiful area, taking advantage of a location that brings you back to peace with the world, immerses you in calm and tranquility, and teaches you to listen to new sounds, long forgotten.
When we moved here, everything was a discovery! Through the renovation, we discovered how much history this house had to tell, hidden beneath the plaster. Every day we leave the house passing through this large terrace with an open view of the Veronese hills, we overlook the greenery of this estate and discover unique corners that we had never noticed before. We believe in the life force that is found at the origin, and that is why we decided to renovate these walls, because we feel its weight, responsibility, and value.
We see our family as a great tree of life, with deep roots and branches that point upwards, never forgetting where we come from.
Because in the end, life is exactly this: having firm feet and thoughts that soar.
