Nestled in the greenery of the Trasimeno Lake Park, La Rocca Residence is a facility born from the shared dream of Mauro and Donatella, who in 1998 turned their desire to live in harmony with nature into a welcoming and well-maintained space. Over time, the project has expanded with the addition of new areas, while preserving its original spirit: to create a relaxing refuge with spaces designed for well-being and authentic connections to the local environment.
The property spans approximately 6,000 square meters in an ideal location for exploring the wonders of Umbria and central Italy, with easy access to cities such as Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Siena, Cortona, Florence, and Rome. Lake Trasimeno, with its charming villages, vibrant traditions, and internationally recognized natural identity, serves as a backdrop for a stay that combines beauty and authenticity.
The residence offers various accommodation options. The studios, perfect for two people, provide a cozy yet complete environment with a private entrance, kitchenette, double bedroom, bathroom, and private garden. Some, like the Mono Rosa, are also accessible to individuals with mobility disabilities. The one-bedroom apartments, ideal for couples or families of up to four, feature a separate dining area, a comfortable sofa bed, and the option to dine outdoors under the porch. The larger Bilocale Terra can accommodate up to five guests. The three-bedroom apartments, boasting views of the lake, two double bedrooms, and two bathrooms, are the perfect choice for larger groups or families.
Among the services designed to enhance guests' experiences, the outdoor pool shaded by ancient oaks stands out, along with the intimate and sensory wellness space, which includes a heated indoor pool, underwater music, a hot tub, an infrared cabin, and a wide range of customizable massages. At the bar, guests can enjoy continental breakfasts and sunset aperitifs, complemented by simple dishes from Umbrian cuisine, local wines, and an international selection of waters from the unique collection of the Water Cellar.
The area is a paradise for nature and sports enthusiasts: canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, and kite surfing on the lake, boat excursions with local fishermen, as well as trekking trails and cycling paths that wind through hills and villages. It is possible to rent bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes, or even Vespa scooters and quads to freely explore one of the most captivating regions in central Italy.
Breakfast is served every morning at the hotel's bar and is a moment of true enjoyment. Guests can kick off their day with a continental breakfast that can be customized upon request, either sweet or savory. The dishes reflect the simplicity and flavor of Umbrian cuisine, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients designed to provide a genuine and satisfying experience. In a relaxed atmosphere with a view of the lake, guests can enhance their breakfast with a selection of special waters from around the world, sourced from the Water Cellar, adding a unique touch to their morning.
Mauro and Donatella are the heart of La Rocca Residence, a couple both in life and work who have turned a dream into reality. Their vision of hospitality stems from a desire to share an authentic way of living, immersed in nature and the slow, harmonious rhythms of the Umbrian landscape. With passion and commitment, they have attended to every detail of the establishment, creating a warm yet private atmosphere where guests can feel welcomed with both discretion and warmth. Always available, they are ready to offer suggestions and advice to make each stay as enjoyable as possible.
