On top of a hill that overlooks valleys, seas, and mountains in every direction, lies Montepagano, an ancient village that represents the perfect complement to what is meant to be an oasis of tranquility and spiritual well-being: "Our Mansion".
The concept of hospitality between ancient history and modern comfort was the guiding theme of the recovery of ancient buildings such as the Bastion and the Guard Tower of the ancient fortified village.
Just like in a riad, a typical dwelling of Arab medinas, the individual rooms have access from an inner courtyard, a common space and a place to rest and meet.
The rooms, each one different from the other, are united by the fusion of craftsmanship, modernity, and comfort. All the details recall faraway countries, which harmonize with those specifically made by Abruzzo master craftsmen.
The magnificent panorama embraces them all in different but dominant ways. From the breakfast room, you can enjoy a spectacular and wide view of the sea and mountains.

Twenty years ago, in the distant year of 2000, the first restoration project began with the renovation of the "Belvedere", an old guard post of the fortified village "Mons Montis Pagus", now known as the Borgo of Montepagano, the historic heart of Roseto degli Abruzzi. The beauty and atmosphere that can be felt in the old alleys and breathtaking panoramic views inspired the architects Francesca Catania and Francesco D'Angelo, both from Rome, to continue the recovery of old buildings and structures, creating the wonderful hospitality project known as "Our Mansion".
This ancient Borgo is a fascinating place that offers a perfect experience for those seeking an escape from the hectic city life. Here you can enjoy the peace and serenity of "Slowliving".
