A historic residence in front of Otranto Castle, romantic rooms with vaulted star ceilings in Galatina or a suite facing the Ionian Sea.
The building that houses the Bed & Breakfast is a charming palace dating back to the late 19th century, built by a family of skilled artisans and stonemasons. Its façade is characterized by the white color and the Lecce stone, a very malleable material extracted from a tuffaceous rock, typical of the area.
During your stay in this enchanting B&B, you can admire the tools used by the ancient stonemasons, instruments that worked the splendid stones that adorn the exteriors of the palace, rigorously handmade by the founder and builder of the building.
The rooms have been created using typical Salento construction techniques, known as "Leccese vaults". The two most common types of vaults are the "spigolo vault", very similar to the famous "cross vault", and the "squadro vault", better known as the "star vault". Both are closed at the top by a keystone that gives stability and balance to the structure as a whole.
The protection of the building was also entrusted to a "santino" (a small sacred effigy) buried in the foundations or placed at the base of the arch.
Do not be deceived by the choice of intense and vibrant colors of the interiors: they are the result of careful restoration work on the original plaster and allow you to stay in an environment that faithfully approaches the architectural origins, while offering the comforts of the modern era.
The Bed & Breakfast is spread over two floors: on the ground floor, in addition to the common rooms (reading room, breakfast room, and kitchen), you will find a double bedroom with a private bathroom and a garden equipped with a slide, swings, hammocks, and tables. On the first floor, there are two suites and three bedrooms, all with private bathrooms.
The external terraces, overlooking the palace's private orchard, are the ideal place for a relaxing and suggestive breakfast. All rooms are equipped with LED TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, Wi-Fi connection, and a safe.

The Naca della Taranta is a fascinating reality in Salento, born from the tireless commitment of Francesca, a graduate in Law and with a Master's degree from Bocconi. This small company is dedicated to the restoration of ancient family properties, transforming them into magical and welcoming places for visitors to Salento. The Naca offers three different structures to discover: The Naca by the Sea in Santa Maria al Bagno, which offers breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea, The Naca della Taranta, a charming Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Salento in Galatina, the city famous for its pasticciotti and tarantism, and finally an extraordinary historic residence in front of the castle of Otranto, overlooking the Adriatic Sea and with a panoramic view of the picturesque Otranto canal.
Galatina, located in the heart of Salento, is a city full of history and culture. Begin your visit by exploring the Basilica of Santa Caterina d'Alessandria, renowned for its fascinating medieval frescoes. In the historic center, you can admire the main Church of San Pietro and Paolo and the Orsini Palace. Don't miss the opportunity to indulge in a "pasticciotto," a typical Salento sweet, at one of the local historic pastry shops. Galatina is also famous for "Taranta," a traditional popular dance from Puglia: if you are in the city in June, make sure not to miss the Night of the Taranta. Lastly, wine enthusiasts must visit the Conti Zecca Winery to taste the exquisite local wines.
