The ancient Tuscan farmhouse, constructed with stone at the beginning of the 1900s, has recently undergone a meticulous restoration that faithfully preserved its original charm. Every detail reflects the authenticity and intrinsic character of its era.
Some of the rooms have been skillfully converted from the old stables, where visitors can still admire the original feeding troughs, now transformed into striking decorative elements that serve as bed headboards, creating a unique and evocative atmosphere. The flooring and ceiling maintain their ancient splendor, with characteristic Tuscan terracotta tiles, oak beams, and stone rafters that tell the story of the building.
On the majestic stone arch of the main entrance, one can still admire the coat of arms of the original family, engraved with the initials and the year of construction of the farmhouse, dating back to 1906, adding a touch of nobility and history to its entrance.
The structure jealously preserves the architectural features and typical materials of the era, remaining an authentic treasure trove of tradition and culture. Even today, on humid days, one can perceive subtle olfactory notes of vintage and freshly pressed olive oil, a reminder of the agricultural past that permeates the environment.
Originally designed as a rectory, as evidenced by the exquisite chiseled granite stones traditionally used in churches, the farmhouse has undergone mysterious transformations over time, eventually becoming the sumptuous main residence of a family of farmers, complete with stables, an olive press, and cellars, emphasizing its historical importance and connection to Tuscan rural traditions.
