In the heart of Genoa's historic center, Riccardo and Sabrina, the owners of B&B La Maddalena, offer hospitality in a seventeenth-century building in a cozy apartment with typical Genoese features.
The Bed & Breakfast is located in the city center, close to the main points of interest of the city:
- 5 minutes walk from the Porto Antico and the Aquarium of Genoa
- 10 minutes walk from Piazza De Ferrari and Palazzo Ducale
- 1 minute walk from via Garibaldi and the museums of Palazzo Bianco, Palazzo Rosso and Palazzo Tursi
- very close to Palazzo Spinola.
The rooms have been completely renovated compared to the previous ones and are located on the 4th floor without a lift.
There is the possibility of using a coffee room, breakfast, relaxation room equipped with a fridge, wi-fi and cable connection available to guests.
The triple room "La Città Vecchia" is very spacious and welcoming. It can accommodate up to 4 people as it has a double bed, a single bed and a fourth bed for children can be added, making it ideal not only for families but also for friends who want to spend a vacation together without spending a fortune!
The room has a bathroom with shower for exclusive use inside the room.
The double room "Bocca di Rosa" is smaller, but very intimate and a single bed for children can be added upon request. The room has a bathroom with shower for exclusive use outside the room.
If necessary, a bed for children or a camping cot for babies is available for both rooms.
Both rooms are equipped with TV and wifi and cable internet. For the little ones, Sabrina has thought of many details that will make the stay even more cheerful and pleasant! The magic bedside lamp.. the game drawer.. and for breakfast, a fun and colorful corner prepared just for them!
For breakfast, we offer a variety of options based on the customer's request, such as milk, different types of tea, coffee (we have a machine with various capsules, including cappuccino, long coffee, etc.), juice, and yogurt. We can also provide soy/rice/oat milk upon request, along with a selection of biscuits, including typical Genovese ones, rusks, jam/honey, and bread. Additionally, we often serve focaccia and brioches. Breakfast is not included in the basic price but can be chosen as a separate service at the discretion of the guests!

We are Sabrina and Riccardo, and we have been managing the La Maddalena B&B since 2004. Following an extensive renovation, we have reopened the B&B with freshly renovated rooms and exclusive-use bathrooms. Our establishment exudes a familial atmosphere, yet the layout of the house still allows for the privacy of our guests to be maintained. We love our city and relish the opportunity to showcase Genoa through our eyes.
