The B&B La luna in cortile, located between the ancient gates of Lecce, is a delightful residence situated on the walls of the capital of Salento. In the heart of the historic center, just 200 meters from the Cathedral, our house has been designed to offer our guests an authentic experience of Mediterranean hospitality, through typical colors, sounds, and flavors.
The star and barrel vaults, the warm embrace of the local stone, and the details that tell a past brought back in a contemporary way, make this place unique, ideal for an unforgettable stay that preserves the authentic essence of Salento.
Located between Porta Napoli and Porta Rudiae, in the heart of the capital of Salento, our B&B is situated on the ancient city walls, still preserving its intact details and timeless charm. We offer three spacious rooms (all with private bathroom), a cozy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely courtyard, and a small lamia. Our property has a double entrance: via Scarambone, for easy access to the historic center, and via Adua, to facilitate parking on a street outside the restricted traffic area.
The name "La luna in cortile" is not just a name, but a metaphor of life: we aim to reserve a corner of the sky in the stone of our Salento home, hoping that every guest can find their own moon, their own dream, their own moment of rest, discovering and living the authentic soul of our territory.
La luna in cortile hides small but significant southern details: photographs that tell the South, taken by attentive eyes of Salento photographers, poems that narrate our identity, fabrics and accessories specially sewn by Muricinae, and a variety of objects that recall a past we cannot give up... nothing is left to chance!
