Formerly used as a granary, this 18th-century ancient dwelling has been skillfully transformed into a cozy and warm structure. Local craftsmen, in full respect of traditions, have preserved the old stone walls and reconstructed a mountain environment using reclaimed wood. Antique doors, vintage furniture, and warm precious carpets complete the charm of this structure. The typical furnishings of mountain houses and a large fireplace will welcome you for a completely relaxing holiday. Spread over three floors, La Luge d'Antan features five double rooms and one single room, all different and unique. Cozy, romantic, and meticulously cared for in every detail, they are equipped with heating, LCD TV, sound system, safe, kettle with tea/herbal teas, private bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries. The characteristic of these rooms is the respect for the traditional Valdostan construction, with original 18th-century stone and strictly reclaimed wood as the highlight of the entire building. La Luge d'Antan is located in a quiet and green area, just 500 meters from the historic center of Brusson. During the summer, you can easily access the "fitness trail" path, which is a few steps away, for a pleasant walk or jog, or experience the thrill of horseback riding in the woods with the wonderful horses of the adjacent riding stable. Excursions, trekking, mountain biking, and rock climbing are the characteristic activities of holidays in Brusson. During the winter, our guests will have easy access to the "Trois villages" cross-country ski trail, which hosts national and international cross-country skiing and biathlon competitions every year. Thanks to the artificial snowmaking system, the track will be impeccable throughout the winter season. For those who prefer downhill skiing, at Estoul, the Palasinaz ski area offers 15 km of slopes suitable for both beginners and experts, as well as a snow park for the enjoyment of the little ones. Alternatively, just 10 km away, you will find the Monterosaski area with Champoluc and the Alagna-Valsesia connection. There is also an ice skating rink and marked trails for pleasant snowshoe walks.
