The six available rooms are all cozy and tastefully furnished. Warm parquet flooring envelops each room and the large windows allow you to enjoy beautiful natural light. Each room is equipped with a table for breakfast or for enjoying meals in complete privacy and safety. In addition, you will find a mini fridge with a complimentary bottle of water, an electric kettle, and a tray with a wide selection of Twinings teas, Twinings infusions, and Nescafé coffee. Each room has a private marble bathroom (pink or gray) with a shower, equipped with all the amenities you may need.
Every morning, we will greet you with our delicious breakfast, which will be served in your room at the time you prefer, between 8:00 am and 10:00 am, offering you a wide choice between sweet and savory options.
During your stay, we will always be at your disposal to advise you on monuments to visit, parks to relax in, and where to enjoy a spectacular view of the city. We can recommend the best restaurants to savor an excellent Florentine steak or exceptional gelato. Breakfast is served every morning in your room from 8:00 to 10:00, and it offers a variety of delights, including: fresh pastries (no frozen ones!) such as croissants, jam and Nutella, yogurt (fruit or plain), cornflakes, muesli, butter, honey, toast (white or whole wheat), Italian espresso coffee, American coffee, caffe latte, cappuccino, hot chocolate, pancakes with maple syrup, fresh seasonal fruit, orange juice (yellow or red), pineapple juice, apple juice.. and also boiled, scrambled or sunny-side-up eggs, cooked ham, salami, and cheese.
If you have any special dietary needs, such as gluten or lactose intolerance, if you are vegetarian or vegan, or if you desire a special diet, just let us know in advance (before your arrival) and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
Single room with French bed or a square and a half, much more comfortable than the usual single bed, is a small but very cozy room, furnished with taste and without excess, the predominant color is the color salmon / orange, as the curtains and the bedspread .. and the door to the private bathroom. A warm parquet floor wraps around the room and the large window offers a beautiful natural light, the room overlooks an internal garden and is therefore very quiet. In the room you will find a table for breakfast or to have meals in the privacy of your room. The bed and breakfast "La Locandiera" is located at 48 Via della Scala, within the ancient walls of Florence. This privileged location allows visitors to be just a few steps away from Santa Maria Novella train station and close to the exhibition center of Fortezza da Basso and the Palacongressi.
In just a few minutes on foot, you can reach all the major attractions of the city, such as Piazza Santa Maria Novella and the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi Gallery, and the Ponte Vecchio. Additionally, there are numerous shopping streets in the immediate vicinity.
The La Locandiera bed and breakfast is situated on the first floor and is accessible via an elevator. To enter, simply ring the doorbell (the second one from the bottom) and push the door.
