The B&B L’Alloro is a traditional 18th century rural house, once a farm of the Malaspina Castle of Cremolino, surrounded by Dolcetto vineyards, immersed in the tranquility and scents of vegetation, in an area recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Our house is located in a sunny and breezy position, along the castle itinerary, close to the Capanne di Marcarolo Natural Park and the Beigua Park, recognized within the list of global geoparks of UNESCO.
Langa stone, bricks, and terracotta are accompanied by comfortable environments, furnishings from the early 1900s, and delicate linen.
We have three cozy double rooms, also for single use.
The Italian breakfast is served in the ground floor lounge which doubles as a dining room and relaxation space. Here, you can taste typical Monferrato baked goods and seasonal fruit grown according to ancient farming traditions. You can choose from yogurt, kefir, milk, fruit juices, jams, hazelnut cream and locally produced honey.
Upon request, Budwig cream is prepared, appreciated as one of the most complete breakfasts from a nutritional point of view, and made famous by Dr. Kousmine as part of a natural dietary regime she created (the Kousmine method).
Different breakfasts are prepared for those with allergies, celiac disease, etc. with advance notice of one day.
We are located on the gentle hills of Alto Monferrato, just 4 km away from the Ovada highway exit (an excellent starting point to reach Genoa, Savona, the Ligurian Riviera sea or for a day of shopping at the Serravalle Scrivia Outlet). We are also 13 km away from the elegant thermal town of Acqui Terme and 15 km away from Gavi.
