Cannaregio is the most typical and the most "Venetian" district of Venice. Authentic atmosphere, with many trattorias, taverns, restaurants offering non-tourist dishes, at affordable prices. Supermarket and all kinds of shops along the nearby Lista di Spagna, the main street in Venice that connects the Santa Lucia station with the Rialto Bridge.
