In the heart of the fantastic realm of the Eastern Dolomites, there is a family-owned and year-round open B&B called La Genzianella. It is a private villa with a large garden equipped with a gazebo and a barbecue, as well as private parking, located in Caralte di Perarolo di Cadore (Belluno).

To start your day off positively, breakfast is definitely one of the most important moments of your stay. We prepare breakfast with particular care every day, using local typical products if possible and sourced from 0 km. We welcome you with warm croissants, bread, biscuits, jams, honey, spreads, cereals, yogurt, cookies, and upon request, savory foods. Beverages include coffee, barley, milk, tea, infusions, fruit juices, and freshly squeezed juices.

Hi, I'm Carmen. I have been collaborating with my mother, Luigina, and my son, Gabriele, for many years now to manage this small B&B. We have reserved a part of our house for it. When guests arrive, it's a celebration for us. We always try to make them feel at home like they are part of our family. We provide them with clean and well-maintained rooms, information about the area, and leisure activities. In the morning, we offer a rich and abundant breakfast made from local sweet and savory products. Our guests recognize and appreciate the quality of our breakfast, which makes us extremely proud. We are lucky because in the summer, we enjoy the cool mountain climate that makes our days pleasant. In winter, snow is abundant, and it transforms our small town into a Christmas-like scenery that feels timeless. We love our job, and our greatest satisfaction is seeing you return!
Within walking distance of the B&B, you will find a beautiful playground for the little ones, a sports center equipped with tennis courts, bocce, football, a beautiful mini-golf course, and a nature trail called "Margherita's path" with about twenty stations where exercises are indicated. On the same trail, you can come across "The Sounds of the Woods," a didactic project aimed at sharing the often unknown sounds of the fauna found in mountain territories. A few meters from the B&B La Genzianella, in the nearby town of Perarolo di Cadore, is one of the most beautiful and important stretches of the Piave River in Italy. Its waters host some of the most coveted fish species sought by fishermen, such as the Marble Trout and the Grayling, unique specimens in their species. Immerse yourself in this unique and charming environment typical of the Dolomites, and explore these waters by practicing fly fishing techniques such as "catch & release" and "no kill." A few kilometers away is also the artificial lake called "Lago Centro Cadore" with many proposals.
