The B&B La Corte San Francesco is located in the heart of the historic center of Bari, nestled in the charming alleyways where you can discover typical restaurants, pubs, pizzerias, as well as churches, museums, and theaters. A short distance away is the famous "muraglia", the ancient city walls, from which you can admire the splendid view of the Bari waterfront. Following the walls, you will reach the two liveliest squares, Piazza Ferrarese and Mercantile, where you can admire the recently restored Fish Market and in front of which stands the magnificent Margherita Theater, with a breathtaking view of the sea. The squares are full of typical bars where you can taste local delights, from "Sgagliozze" (typical polenta fritters) to panzerotti stuffed in a thousand ways, from focaccia barese to "tiella" with rice, potatoes, and mussels.
