The B&B is located in an ancient monastery dating back to the 17th century, which was later transformed into a noble residence around 1730. It has recently been renovated and converted into a delightful country house. It is situated approximately 10 km from the south exit of the Modena highway.

Just 2 km away is the Terramara Archaeological Park of Montale, an important testimony to human presence dating back 4,000 years and a fascinating example of reconstructed wooden and straw stilt houses.
