B&B La Casa di Zefiro is a haven of comfort and tranquility, where the independence and warmth of a family environment blend harmoniously. Located in the picturesque village of Castra, in the municipality of Capraia e Limite, the villa offers a strategic location between Empoli, Vinci, and Montelupo Fiorentino, surrounded by the green hills of Tuscany.
The property has four bright and tastefully furnished rooms, each with a private bathroom and equipped with SMART TV, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and heating. The rooms, all non-smoking, are named after the fragrances that characterize their surroundings: Citrus, Olive, Rose, and Sage. The rooms are cleaned every morning, and the linens are changed every three days.
Guests can choose between the bed and breakfast service or accommodation only, with the possibility of enjoying a rich and varied breakfast. The buffet offers local and artisanal products, ranging from freshly baked pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereals, to a selection of cold cuts, cheeses, and eggs for savory lovers. All accompanied by fruit juices, tea, and Lavazza coffee.

The B&B La casa di Zefiro is located at an altitude of about 400 meters in the Montalbano natural park, close to three fascinating cities of great historical importance. Empoli, known as the glass city, with its Paleontological Museum and Sant'Andrea Art Gallery, where you can admire works by the most famous artists of the Florentine Renaissance. Montelupo Fiorentino, on the other hand, is the city of ceramics, while Vinci is the birthplace of the Florentine genius Leonardo. For those who enjoy walking or hiking, here you will have the opportunity to explore trails and discover archaeological excavations, surrounded by nature and ancient trees. Despite our countryside location, you will have access to numerous restaurants, supermarkets, and shops easily reachable by car. In less than 6 minutes' drive, you will find the main train station of Montelupo Fiorentino, with ample free parking, from where you can easily reach major cities such as Florence, Siena, and Pisa. Thanks to our privileged location, you can visit not only the mentioned big cities (Prato and Pistoia) but also the small towns and villages of Tuscany, such as San Gimignano, Carmignano with its Clock Tower, the fascinating "Visitation" by Pontormo inside the Church of San Michele and San Francesco, Artimino famous for one of the Medici villas called "La Ferdinanda", the Archaeological Museum, Poggio a Caiano with the Medici villa "Ambra", Lamporecchio known for its delicious Brigidini and Villa Rospigliosi, the village of Cerreto Guidi, and finally Montecatini Terme.
