Many years ago, this beautiful house was purchased with the intention of making it a peaceful residence. It was only after living here that I discovered the spaces were perfect for offering travelers a place to stay. The rooms are spacious and well-lit, and to my surprise, I found out that this house was originally built as an inn! In fact, guests who arrived in town would stop here to rest and refresh themselves, while their horses rested in our stables. The attics, where agricultural laborers once lived, have been transformed into comfortable and welcoming rooms, with frescoes on the walls and stone fireplaces. The house was built in the early 1800s with solid red bricks, wooden beams, and lambrecchie, a typical Emilia-Romagna stone used for roofs and floors. During the renovation, we took care to preserve the original features, such as the terracotta ceilings and wooden beams, which are now exposed. We also decorated the rooms with beautiful frescoes to create a unique and evocative atmosphere. To make our business eco-sustainable, we have installed a photovoltaic system and a solar thermal system. In this way, we can offer our guests a comfortable and environmentally friendly stay.
