Our structure is managed by the kind Luisa, wife of the diver Antonio who for 35 years has dived into all the seas of the world for work. The family that will welcome you consists of three daughters Francesca, Gabriella and Giulia, and a large number of pets that will make the little granddaughter Greta even happier. We are here to offer you an unforgettable experience, hoping that one day the Diver can hang up his helmet and spend as much time as possible with his beloved family.
Ortona is a coastal city located in the center of the Abruzzo coast. Along its magnificent "Eastern Promenade" you can admire the Ortona port and enjoy the view of the rugged coast. Among the most important monuments to visit are the Aragonese Castle, the Farnese Palace, the Cathedral of San Tommaso, where the relics of the Apostle are kept, the Battle Museum, and the Vittoria Theater. Among the traditional events not to be missed are the "Vaporetto" of San Sebastiano on January 20th and the patron saint festivities of San Tommaso, which take place on the first weekend of May, during which the historical reenactment of the "Corteo delle chiavi d'argento" is also held.
The coast of Ortona extends for about 20 km, with wide sandy beaches, both free and equipped. Walking along the beach, you can reach the city of Pescara. Continuing south, the coast becomes rugged with coves and bays overlooking the sea. Among the most beautiful locations are "Acquabella" and "Ripari di Giobbe".
From Ortona begins the famous "costa dei trabocchi", which extends to the city of Vasto, characterized by wild and rocky small beaches. Along this coast, you can admire the famous trabocchi, wooden stilts used in the past for fishing. Today, some of them have been transformed into restaurants.. with fresh fish cuisine and a very suggestive atmosphere, not to be missed!
